Defeating...

TN is back and it is severe. I'm struggling to talk, eat, drink and this time I have new symptoms. I'm not able to touch the outside of my face, my lower lip is especially sensitive, my tongue (common), even my hair is triggering shocks. It's such a battle to live with this. My doctor had me go to the ER last Wednesday to do a Dilantin IV injection. It worked and I was able to speak and eat. But, gradually the pain has returned and it seems worse than before. I am having trouble with balance, forgetting things, I left my personal and work phone at home this morning. I'm not able to drive right now. I'm taking Uber and asking my husband to drive me places. My boss has not been as supportive as the one prior. I'm afraid I'll lose my job. That's just not an option right now. I need to put my kiddo through school. And I do like my job, it's very stressful but I do like my job. I need prayers and hope. I called the neurosurgeon who performed my last radiofrequency rhizotomy. She agreed to perform the procedure again and I'm scheduled for May 16th. That was unexpected, and I'm scrambling to have the tests done asap. She needs various tests of my heart, bloodwork, and a physical, etc. Praying this calms down soon and I get my normal life back. This is the exact reason that I celebrate life and my ability to be normal whenever TN is calm.
